Why it is better to have a tax program in my comp

I like the price. I need only the basic one. It is better than free online apps for my situation, because I do a lot of what-if simulations.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

I’m less a fan of the product this year as I elected to prepare 2 schedule c”s only to discover your system won’t recognize more than one when use of worksheets (a favorite feature) requires amending previous entries. I’ll probably jump to turbo tax this coming year for that reason alone.

I was a little disappointed with HRB policy change. When I have tax related questions, there's no support available. This seems to have changed in a last few years. I don't like that change. The software works fine. But when you stumble upon a question and can't complete your return, that's when you need some tax preparar to talk to.

The information about health should be part of the interview process NOT buried in the accuracy review. Also, it would be helpful if the font size was increased. Finally, if information is entered in a worksheet it should not be necessary to repeat it in the interview.
