We do understand your concern about the louder sound from the power supply unit. The general loudness is a design characteristic of the unit related the thermal profile and fan speed controller. Meaning, as soon as the power draw or internal temperature crosses a certain threshold, the fan jumps immediately to a high. This feature is to ensure the components stay cool, prioritizing longevity over acoustic comfort.

To resolve this issue, check if all power cables are properly connected to your motherboard, especially your power button or switch and this button is being pressed all the way down to trigger a power on signal. I am running an Asus ROG Dark Hero ATX board with 64GB of RAM, an Asus 4070ti OC graphics card, an i9-14900K chip, 2 SSDs, an AIO cooler, and ten fans. So far I have not even came close to reaching the power this thing puts out. Very quiet and so far no trouble what so ever.
