The Poseidon E40 Projector is a great device and definitely worth the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are a lot of projectors in the $300-$500 price range. The Poseidon E40 Projector stands out for its very high brightness, recent Android TV 11, Netflix certification, automatic focus and multiple axis keystone correction. Back to the beginning - the projector looks and feels very well made, it's not cheap plastic but feels sturdy and high quality. It is very easy to set up, the manual describes the steps, but once the device is powered on, you are automatically guided through the setup process which worked very well for me. The power supply is quite big and gets very warm, but that's just to be expected from a bright projector. The remote is really nice, it works for the projector, the built-in Android TV and even connected devices via HDMI. What I really like is the recent Android TV 11 version as well as the Netflix certification. A lot of other projectors come with older Android TV or none at all. It's basically usable as a TV replacement without any additional dongles etc. You can download additional streaming apps if necessary. The automatic focus and keystone correction are good, but you can always adjust the settings manually. There are buttons for a quick focus correction on the remote which is handy. The keystone correction can be adjusted via the settings. The projector automatically detects when you move the device and restarts the calibration. The most important feature for me is that you can place the projector a bit to the side. The keystone correction works on multiple axis so you always get a rectangular image. Obviously, if the angle is too big, the edges might be slightly out of focus. You also slightly see the actual projection outlines in dark scenes. But for slight corrections and considering the price tag, the functions offered are great. You can also zoom or mirror/flip the image if needed. The speakers are okay, compared to other projectors good. You'd probably still want to get an external Bluetooth speaker. You can connect Bluetooth speaker via the Android TV interface. This is where I had the only problem so far. One of my Bluetooth speakers can't connect to the projector. Most others work though. You also have to consider, that those speakers will only work for Android TV, not for any HDMI source. There is an AUX output for those cases, however. You can also play videos from USB Sticks which I haven't yet tried. Of course, you may plug in additional devices via HDMI which works great. Keep in mind that there is only one HDMI port. The fan is quite noticeable, but I still think it's okay and even better than other projectors. Overall, the image quality is great and can be adjusted in the settings. The colours, brightness and focus are really good. For the price, the projector is a great choice for an occasional movie night. It's such an immersive experience to have such a large image when you're used to a small TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The projector was tested on a plain white wall. For me, for the money, a super projector compared to the XIAOMI MI Smart 2 I once saw at a friend's house. After many attempts, I connected it to the BT speaker. Cinematic experience. Android works pretty smoothly. Autofocus too. Handle is helpful to adjust the angle, no need to shim anything. For home conditions and a first projector, I confidently recommend. I also agree with others about the power supply, it is large and heavy. It is separated from the projector by about a meter of cable.

Minor Quirks of E40 :D

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must say, diving into the world of projectors with this gem has been an absolute delight. From the moment I unboxed it, every single detail, from its sleek design to the robust build quality, just screamed top-notch. Not to mention, the assurance of a 10k hour lamp life really puts the mind at ease, doesn't it? I was particularly thrilled to discover it comes with Android TV 11; it's like having a mini cinema at home. And the brightness and image quality? Simply a cut above what I've seen from products shipped over from China with this technology. Plus, the audio clarity and volume level are so good, it's like having a concert hall in your living room. And yes, it does support Dolby, which is a huge win <3
Now, don't get me wrong, it's not all sunshine and rainbows. There are a couple of niggles. The power supply is quite bulky, which seems a bit at odds with the otherwise sleek and portable design. And then there's the autofocus feature -it doesn't remember its settings, so I find myself needing to recalibrate it each time I turn the projector on. A tad inconvenient, but honestly, when I weigh it against the sheer joy of the viewing experience, it feels like a small price to pay
All in all, as a satisfied customer, I'm over the moon with my purchase. Sure, the large power supply and the need for frequent recalibration of the autofocus are minor inconveniences, but they hardly dim my enthusiasm. Every time I fire it up, I'm reminded of how much of a good decision it was to go with this projector. It's been a fantastic addition to my home entertainment setup, and I can't help but recommend it to anyone in the market for a top-quality projector
In keeping with the spirit of sharing, I’ve gone ahead and uploaded some photos of that bulky power supply, along with a video showcasing the available settings, system language options, and what the projection looks like in broad daylight. I didn’t stop there, though. You’ll also get a peek at how impressively it performs against an uneven white wall - the image quality and edge sharpness are quite something. But let me tell you, when the lights go down, that's when the magic really happens. Watching anything in the dark with this projector is an otherworldly experience - it's just that good with 100% sharp displayed!

Thank you so much for sharing your amazing experience with our Poseidon E40 Projector. It's truly delightful to hear how much you're enjoying it and how it has exceeded your expectations in so many ways. We're thrilled to have provided you with a top-notch product that brings the joy of a mini cinema right into your home!
We appreciate your feedback regarding the power supply and the autofocus feature. We understand that the bulky power supply may seem a bit out of place with the sleek design, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused. As for the autofocus feature, we're sorry to hear that it doesn't remember its settings. However, we have a handy tip for you! You can save the focus settings by simply disabling the auto-focus and auto-keystone correction functions. This way, you can avoid the hassle of recalibrating it every time you turn on the projector.
We're glad to hear that these minor inconveniences haven't dampened your enthusiasm for our projector. Your satisfaction means the world to us, and we're thrilled to have made a positive impact on your home entertainment setup. Thank you for recommending our projector to others who are in the market for a top-quality device.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this projector for three weeks. The first thing that surprises you after unpacking is how well it is made. All elements are well fitted and the projector has a nice matte finish. The size is just right, I doubt Ultimea would be able to fit this technology into a smaller body. The included remote control is well made, has buttons for popular streaming services, focus correction, volume control and quick access to the menu. I was only unpleasantly surprised by the size of the power supply. It is large and heavy and does not fit the profile of the portable device this projector was intended to be.
Ok, let's get to what's most important - the image quality. WOW. Really good job Ultimea. The projector is bright enough that you can easily use it with the light on (although the colors will not be very vivid). But you can. However, when the light is turned off, the projector shows its beauty. The image is very bright, the colors are saturated even though I display the image on the wall without a special screen. I think that most people who are looking for a relatively inexpensive projector will be delighted with the image quality and surprised just how bright it gets.
Sound. It's even better here. The sound is clear and deep with good bass. It's as good as a decent soundbar.
The system works very smoothly, there is full Google TV, all streaming services work. I also tested playback from an external drive and it was a bit of a disappointment because the system app does not recognize sound codecs, but the app I downloaded for Google TV works perfectly and the sound is played normally. HDMI also transmits the image without any problem (tested with laptop) and gaming console.
Pros : 1. Image quality (good brightness and color reproduction) 2. Sound quality (WOW, really WOW) 3. Build Quality (premium product feel) 4. Quiet fan. I guess it's actually below 30 dB because as soon as there is sound in the movie, you can't hear the fan. 5. Very good image correction.
Cons : 1. Power supply size 2. I was not able to confirm if the projector supports dolby audio. When I play video with dolby audio on my TV and get notification in the corner that this sound format is now active. Nothing here. Maybe it works differently but it is a bit confusing. 3. The focus is slightly blurred in the center if the image is not projected perfectly in front of the wall. Fortunately, it can be easily corrected using the remote control.
