[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first Green Works power washer was 13 years old my sister wanted it so I gave it to her. I then bought a new Green Works 2500 and works like champ straight out of the box. I have arthritis in both hands and using Green Works makes it easy to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Piece of Junk
on May 12, 2026

Piece of junk. Worked fine for 2 years and I did not use it that much. Now water pours out of the hose that goes into the soap dispenser, the water flow should be in the opposite direction. They need to rename this GreenNOworks
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
Response from greenworkstools.comBy Greenworks, May 13, 2026
Hello Gator91384. We are sorry to hear about your experience, especially after the unit performed well for a couple of years. That is understandably frustrating. Based on what you described, water flowing out of the soap (detergent) inlet is typically related to a check valve or internal injector issue. Under normal operation, that port should only draw detergent when the system is running in low-pressure mode, not allow water to exit. This can sometimes occur if there is a blockage, mineral buildup, or a worn internal valve. A few things you can try: Ensure you are using the correct nozzle, soap function only activates with a low-pressure (black) nozzle. Flush the system with clean water to remove any residual detergent or debris. Inspect the detergent inlet and hose for cracks, looseness, or buildup that may be affecting flow direction. If the unit was exposed to freezing temperatures at any point, internal components may have been compromised, which can lead to this type of issue. We also see that you have already been in touch with our team, and we are actively assisting you through the warranty claim process to get this resolved as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience while we work toward a solution. While we regret that this experience didn not meet expectations, your feedback is valuable and will be shared with our product team as we continue to improve reliability and durability.
