If the pressure washer isnot producing pressure or will not operate correctly, there are a few key things to check. First, make sure the unit is connected directly to a working outlet and that the GFCI/reset button on the plug is fully engaged. Confirm that your water supply is turned on completely and that the garden hose is not kinked, as these units require steady water flow at least 45 PSI to build pressure. It is also important to purge any air from the system, before turning the unit on, hold the trigger for about 30 -60 seconds with water running to remove trapped air. Next, check the spray nozzle and wand for any clogs or debris, since even a small blockage can prevent proper pressure. Also ensure all hose connections are tight and that the inlet filter is clean, as restricted flow can impact performance.
