Good washer but parts hard to find

I bought three of these several months ago and I’m glad I did… However Green works could do something about customer service and parts availability. I had to search online and finally found what I needed but the price was high. Come on Greenworks...Little items like an on/off knob, made out of plastic, should be available since it’s so easy to lose off the unit. Thank you

This unit is a Greenworks Pro unit. Maybe they are better built then the regular line. Design details include bushings for bolts in the handle, which means durability. Minimal assembly is involved. The unit is very smart about turning on and off. Best of all, there is fuel smell while working. Car wash was a pleasure with the 40-degree tip. The Turbo tip made light work of a walkway and moss on retaining walls.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have used Simpson gas pressure washers before and cannot tell much of a difference between this one and that one, atleast for my purposes as a homeowner. This thing blasts away durt on patio and retaining walls with ease and I am currently using it to strip paint off the cinderblock in my garage so that I can repaint with drylock and it works great for that. Very powerful! No maintenance with gas, oil, and filters. Great buy!

Purchased this. Used it for the first time 3 days later.. Worked well for about 15 minutes, then it died,, would not resume operation. I expected so much better. It was a waste of my time and money. Thankfully, I was able to return it after I advised the store of the poor quality and performance of this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Light Duty Only

1) Homeowner use only; not for industrial tasks. Not recommended for more rugged homeowner tasks such as removing debris, sand or pea gravel from sidewalks, driveways or roadway...unless you have lots of time.
2) You must bleed all air from the garden hose BEFORE connecting it to the machine, or the motor will repeatedly fault out. This step was neglected from the instructions. You can't simply "hold the trigger open for 30 seconds" per the instructions; "30 seconds" applies only to the gun line.
3) The Trigger-Delay-Startup is a strong negative. Pressure Washing is a start-stop-start-stop-over-and-over process. The 3-5 delay in starting - each time you pull the trigger - is very aggravating over the course of a multi-hour job.
4) Gun holster does not work well. The Gun repeatedly falls out, easily.

Quiet and Well Built

I have used gas powered washers and was hoping to find an electric pressure washer with enough power to handle the toughest jobs around our home. After some competitive research, this seemed to fit the bill. I was not disappointed. The GWP 2700 is well designed and sturdy. Assembly is easy. There is a clear attention to detail, even in the product packaging.
Operation is easy. The turbo nozzle easily removes mildew/moss/weeds from patios and masonry during spring cleaning. We used it steadily for about 5 hours on the first day and were extremely impressed with the performance.
The GWP 2700 automatically senses the back-pressure and adjusts the pressure for the nozzle being used. My only complaint is that the instructions point out that soap can ONLY be used with the soap nozzle. However, there is no explanation about switching between soap and rinse operations, for example when washing boats and vehicles. It is not clear if the soap tank must be empty before attempting to rinse the vehicle with a different nozzle. Clarification about operation with the soap tank in the instructions and/or online would be helpful. This is the only reason for not giving 5 stars.

This replaced a gas pressure washer that I had for ten years. I have the same pressure and cleaning results without the noise and hassles of the gas engine. You do need a 15 amp breaker for this, one 10 amp circuit I tried to use kept tripping.
