Did the jobs i did with it very well

Bought this unit a few weeks ago, used it on a badly stained mildew covered 3 lane driveway at my neighbors house using the turbo nozzel, now it looks almost new. Also did a portion of my roof as well that was covered in mildew and algae w/ the same nozzel, now it looks much better. Will also remove most rust scale from a BBQ grill.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this yesterday. Power washed my sidewalk that had mold and discoloredwith the rotating surface cleaner then power washed it. Beautiful job looks almost like new.

Parts break with little use

I have used this only a couple times for light spraying of cars and garage floor. The high pressure hose had a failure at the fitting crimp, looking at the suggested link in another review the part is no longer available. I would avoid this product if it fails so easily and does not have support available for poor manufacturing. I shouldn't have to discard the entire unit because of a small part being of poor quality but I guess I will have to. Since there are no replacement items or quality standards, I will definitely avoid this company from now on.

This is a great pressure washer for a home owner. I also bought the 11" surface cleaner for our driveway and walks. It's NOT a giant commercial unit. It is easy to pull out and use and put away, which is what I wanted.

Long Term Durability Bad!

I got this unit back in September 2018. It was working great for the last couple years. I really enjoyed it as it was easy to use, portable and light. Also, got good pressure out of a small unit. Unfortunately, recently I went to plug it in and it started making a bunch of clicking noises in the plug. I tried several other outlets, extension cords, no extension cords, etc. Did the same thing on all of them. The unit will not turn on now. I tried resetting the trip on the plug, and nothing still. I also reached out to customer service and did not hear back. I really did like this when it was working, I have several other Greenworks products. So I'm extra disappointed when this broke. Hopefully it can be resolved soon!

Not dispensing soap

I purchased this washer new about 3yrs ago. At the time it was the highest pressure electric washer. Did a great job washing the house and deck. I store the washer indoors due to freezing VT winter temperatures. Last year soap was not dispensing when using my long extension wand. This year it has finally totally quite dispensing soap from the reservoir. Knock on wood...I have not had some of the other problems mentioned, but not being able to dispense soap pretty much defeats the purpose of a pressure washer. Searching internet for parts and information is not turning up much. All the parts commonly offered are the cheap plastic bits and pieces. And all the advice in the manual and Greenworks site is basically worthless tank clogged, filter clogged, don't use bleach, drain the tank after use. I always use quality pressure washing detergent and dilute 50/50 with only water, never bleach. I do industrial equipment maintenance so I'm quite certain I know what I'm doing. The lack of information and lack of replacement parts is discouraging. If the reviews on this page were available 3 years ago I never would have bought it. I understand and occasional low rating but when nearly every review is a 1 or 2 star...that right there should tell you something about the product. Oh yeah, on final note...I pretty sure that Greenworks is aware of the low pressure soap dispensing problem because they now have a high pressure soap dispenser that attaches to the high pressure wand. That won't do me any good when using with an extension wand to reach the 2nd floor and roof gable peaks. I only use my washer 1-2 a year to do my house and deck. This should not have been worn out after only a few uses. Next purchase is likely to be a gas powered model from a brand with high quality reputation with readily available replacement parts and rebuild kits.
The problem is that there is not enough suction being created to dispense the soap. Even plain water does not dispense from the tank. Need a rebuild kit for the pump head. My old Karcher washer had pump head rebuild kits. Seems like all Greenworks wants to do is have you buy a new washer and throw the old one away...not very "green". I'm not buying a new Greenworks pressure washer every year.
The main reason this got a 2-star is because the high pressure still seems to be working well. It will blast away a lot of crud. Value and durability are only 1-star. Too bad that one of the most powerful electric washer is such a low durability and low value product.

We're sorry for your troubles. Please make sure to clean out the soap nozzle prior to use. Even a small amount of debris can affect the performance of this unit. Take a small pin and clear out the hole in the nozzle. Make sure the right detergent is being used and diluted according to the detergent bottle. Check to make sure the line is clear. If soap has been left in the tank for a period, make sure to clean it out. If there's residue try adding a cup or so of hot water in the soap tank to loosen it and then run the unit with an attached clean soap nozzle. Prior to each use make sure you purge the unit.
Try following these steps:
The unit should be off.
Connect the garden hose to the pressure washer.
Connect the high-pressure hose and the spray gun/wand. No nozzle.
Turn the water on.
Hold down and squeeze the trigger on the spray gun to purge out any water or air from the unit for a good 1 - 2 minutes. This will relieve any built-up pressure.
While you're still holding the trigger switch the pressure washer to on.
