If the unit stopped starting after a short period of use, it may be related to a safety or protection feature being triggered. First, ensure the unit is connected directly to a working outlet (preferably a GFCI outlet) and try pressing the reset button on the plug itself, as it may have tripped during use. It is also important to confirm that the pressure washer is receiving a consistent water supply, at least 45PSI, these units require water to be flowing before the trigger is engaged, and low or interrupted water flow can prevent startup. Check that the garden hose is fully open, not kinked, and that the inlet filter is clean and free of debris.
Another common cause is air trapped in the system. With the unit powered off and nozzle removed, squeeze the trigger for 30 -60 seconds to purge any air from the line, then try starting the unit again. Additionally, inspect the spray wand and nozzle for clogs, as blockages can cause pressure buildup and trigger a shutdown. If the unit overheated during use, it may also require time to cool down before it will restart.
