This is the ultimate complete set of Pro knives and the magnetic bar storage option is excellent for both the kitchen with little counter space or the kitchen where you want to show off your investment and have it handy for every day use. The magnetic bar is super strong so no worries about your knives attaching securely. Each of these knives is made from specially formulated steel to stay strong and razor sharp use after use. The curved bolster provides the most comfortable pinch grip for the thumb and forefinger. I like to tell people once you've put a Pro knife in your hand you'll never want to use another knife.

Each knife is as sharp as you'd expect from a high end product making quick work of all your chopping needs around the kitchen. I know from owning other Zwilling knives in the Pro series that that the knives maintain that edge considerably longer than any others I have used. The powerfully magnetic bar is of equal quality and quite heavy. I used 3M automotive foam tape to hold it and the weight of the knives on my kitchen backsplash without having to drill holes into my tile.

great set with out of the way storage

I didn't want a large block sitting on my counter. This set is great. The Zwilling Pro knives are very sharp. The curved bolster makes it comfortable to hold the knife properly and increases my accuracy. The German made forged steel blades stay sharp for a very long time and are easy to maintain. This set takes care of all my cutting needs from shaping and prep all the way up to slicing. The magnet bar is easy to install securely and is very strong.

This set is an ideal set for anyone who loves to cook. It has all the knives you could want for everyday cooking. A couple of specialty knives for general prep, and two workhorse knives - the chef's and the santoku. (Perfect if there are two of you cooking). The bright stainless steel magnetic bar provides easy grab-and-cut access. It securely holds each knife in place. To release the knife, just roll the knife towards the spine and, boom! it's in your hand.
This Pro line set is a good place to go if you are upgrading your cutting tools. Made of one of Zwilling’s highest quality steels, they will hold an edge and stand up to a lifetime of use. The innovative angled bolster is easy to grip, keeping the thumb and forefinger in the correct position for maximum control. Minimal maintenance required. Hone them regularly and sharpen, at most, once a year. I hand wash so they look brand new, but they are dishwasher safe.

This is the perfect set. The Pro knives are made exceptionally well, having a unique bolster so you can really grip your knives with comfort and confidence. The sigmaforged and ice hardened high carbon stainless steel is really durable, which means these knives will last for a long time and retain their sharpness, while not rusting. This set literally has the most essential blades, so you’ll never go without having the right knife in your kitchen. With this set, you get a magnet bar, a very convenient and space saving way of storing your knives effectively and safely.

The Pro line is amazing. The magnet bar is easy to install and frees up valuable counter space. This 10 piece set offers 3 additional knives than the 7 piece magnet bar set. The paring, the 5" serrated and the santoku, are all useful additions. Tough choice!
