Works as described. Initially one drive had a fault, but the NVR resolved it and all of my hard drives have worked flawlessly. I've only had these for 2-4 months so I'm hoping they last for some years.

I replaced my 2TB drive that came with my Lorex system with this 14TB WD. I use to get 2 days of recordings and even though i went up to 14TB i now get a whole 4 days. This is also extremely loud. I suggest you look for another company. I wish i could return this thing asap. Complete waste of money!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. Hard drives produce some noise when they work. The amount and kind of noise depend on what the hard drive is doing like reading or writing data. It's good to know which sounds are normal and which might mean there's a problem with the hard drive.
