This mat is TOO thin. Chair casters dent the mat so that chairs do not roll. Material (plastic) way too soft thin and cheap. I’ve bought bamboo and plastic chair mats from Staples before — the quality used to be much better. Staples’ buyers need to be more discriminating with their purchases. I would NOT recommend purchase of this chair mat.

Its just been couple of weeks but the mat is having depression marks where the wheels sit on the mat... Not sure how long before I would not be able to move the wheels freely on the mat!

Although a little better than bare carpet this chair mat is not sturdy enough to prevent the chair from creating deep impressions in the mat making moving the chair around difficult. This mat would be alright only on a thin carpet or hard floor surface.
