Anyone who has ever bought one of these knows that it can be next to impossible to flatten them. So that was expected. It was perfect for the carpet in that office and sized as stated.

Now I can't open my drawer because this thing is sticking up wards. Have to throw out and buy somewhere else.

The mat had good grip characteristics but was too flexible for the low pile textured carpet in my study. The office chair castor wheels sank in when the seat was occupied making it hard to roll the chair. I added my old smooth faced chair mat over the top and the combination worked well

It stays put on a low pile carpet. Not much else to say.
