I purchased this for my office with a med. pile carpet. I am 200 lbs and I don't have any problem with divets or anything in it. I plan to order an additional one.

Chair mat does the job

We purchased this chair mat to protect a low pile Oriental rug in our home office. The rug was wearing out under our rolling desk chair. The mat seems to be doing the job. It is a sturdy but flexible mat with small "grippers" that keep it in place. The chair rolls easier than on the rug and the clear mat is barely visible. Indentations in the mat (due to the weight on it) were mentioned in a previous review. To be honest we didn't notice indentations until we looked -- and they were very minor.

Hard floor chair mat = okay quality.

We ordered 2 which were received unpacked or bound together. One has a wrinkle that has not flattened out up until now. Staples should consider how to improve packaging to ship this item even if we receive free shipping.

very poor quality. don't expect the mat to last very long. low durability. but it was cheap compared to other mats and i had a $5.00 coupon. get what you pay for.

Easy Moving

I have purchased one for each individual office in my building. I now have five agents one receptionist one extra desk and two desks in my office for a total of ten mats I have purchased. Each desk has a mat over the carpet and the carpet stays in great condition. I find it a lot less expensive to put in a mat than to have to replace the carpeting. As new agents come into my office I will purchase a mat for each desk area. I have been very satisfied with the product & would highly recommend it to anyone.

Sturdy Constrution

Arrived promptly. The little nobbies on the underside of the mat hold it tightly in place on carpet. The good grip allows your chair to move easily. The size allows enough room to roll chair back & forth and side to side without running off mat.
