Saves and the Rug and Keeps me Rolling S

This mat for under my desk chair is incredible and necessary to keep me productive at my laptop. An excellent way to help save the rug as well. I would recommend this to anyone who has a floor or floor covering which they seek to keep in good condition.

Good Product Need Better Packaging

The chair mat is fine and as expected after having viewed a simialr one in the store. However I wold like to suggest a better packaging / shipping process. My mat arrived completely uncovered and filthy. The map was covered in black crud / dust from shipping trucks and had to be completely washed on both sides prior to bringing into my office. This was very inconvenient since it was 24 degrees outside and my only option was to wash it outside using a hose and scrub brush. I recommend at least shrink wrapping before shipment. The mat does dent as I sit one location but so far it recovers when the chair is moved to another location. Time will tell but initially I am satisfied with it. Mine is sitting on a low pile berber style carpet so well within the specifications for the mat.

Every couple of years I need to replace my chair mat under my desk chair due to the constant use and work at home arrangement I have with my employer. Staples is the place I shop to order my mats. Delivery was quick (overnight!) and ordering online was easy. In fact I ordered two so that I would have one for my husband's office as well! Both mats are sturdy and will endure lots of wear. In 5 years I have only replaced my mat once. I gave it 4 stars only because the "spikes" on the mat could be a little longer to grip the carpet. But frankly I have been using this new one since Christmas and it works great!

Lays flat as stated. Grips carpet and does not slide. Chair glides effortlessly.

This mat has fulfilled its purpose. It holds on to the carpet and does not slide under the desk. I am pleased with the purchase.

The chair mat is a replacement. The problem is that as it ages it cracks and big chunks break off from the middle of the mat where the chair wheels over it. Then I have to buy a new one. This takes about 2 years.
