Mat works well in my area. Helps to have a smooth motion of desk chair and protects the carpet from further wear and tear.

A lot more rigid than I had thought but reasonable. Underside spike like footing can be a little sharp. Don't tie with boxing tape. Glue residual does not come off freely. Store was kind enough to tape and roll the mat up. Got home and tried to take off mat and had this extra issue to deal with. Trip home from store door to door was about 30 minutes. Overall I do believe it is a suitable product. Just prefer not to have the glue issue to deal with.
