The mat that this mat replaced didn't show dents in the mat or the floor. I had it over 10 years and it was starting to crack. Guess it was more plastic and durable than this rubber mat. I do think this mat will last a year. I am 5'2" tall and not overweight but this mat has dents in it already. Are you sure you want future reviews from me?

Economical yet practical

I needed a chair mat for my office at work so my 'old' chair wouldn't cut the carpet. The Company probably will not replace the carpet and wouldn't buy the mat. I got an excellent price at Staples and the quality seems excellent as well. If this may lasts half as long as the last one I will be very happy! Besides that I only have 3.5 years left to work!! No problem there! Thanks Staples!

Okay we went cheap. Figured that we could get another two for the price of the expensive one...so what the heck. Our carpet is a bit too thick for this pad...but it works.
