This chair mat says for up to 3/4" carpet. I measured my carpet and it is less than that. The chair mat has dents in it from the chair and does not allow the chair to move freely while sitting in it. I will be replacing this mat.

Solid but not what I was expecting

I was looking for a chair mat that would be good on a medium-size carpet. Although this one is better than a previous one I used it's not as strong as I would like. The chair mat gets little sink holes where the chair is.

I am disappointed because the edges are straight not inclined.If I roll off the mat it is hard to get back on

I have carpet so I need one of these at my desk. I had the last one for many years. Over time they crack and eventually a chunk came out of it. I bought this one and so far so good!

Not what I expected. Quite thin so dimples quickly under my 5-roller office chair. Not sure how long this will last. I have ordered a number of chair mats over the years. This is the first one which didn't even come in a box. It arrived curled up and dirty. The delivery guy said that happened in the van and it will flatten out eventually. Yes overnight with a heavy weight on it it is flatter but still a bit of curl at the edge. Fifteen minutes of effort to get the large ugly sticker off. On arrival not impressive. If it lasts longer than it looks like it will I will be more pleased with it.

Not firm enough

This is second mat I’ve ordered from staples. Paid more for this one but still gets indented by wheels on chair on my very low pile carpet. Plastics is too soft
