I like the chair mat fine but would have liked a plain rectangle shape but could not find one on the web site. I had to cut off the piece that juts under the desk because it had the rubber studs inderneath the mat and the floor under the desk is hardwood. Otherwise great value sturdy mat for our area rug.

The mat itself was ok. The way it was packaged/handled was not acceptable. I expected it to come rolled up or at least flat ready to use. Instead when I picked it up from the store it had two huge stickers and sticky plastic on it that I was unable to get off without a ton of scraping and GooGone cleaner someone had written numbers on it with what I assume was permanent marker because I could not get it off completely and it had dirty shoe prints all over it. I’m super pregnant and trying to work at home with a toddler and did not expect to be on my hands and knees trying to fix this mat.

Does the job. The mat is very pliable which means it will bend and not crack however the chair wheels do indent while sitting on it which keeps the chair from easily rolling around as it wants to roll back into the indentations that you created while sitting still.

My old mat retired the impressions of the coasters for many hours. The physical size of the new mat was much larger than the replaced mat so maneuvering the chair was not limited.

High quality solution

After procrastinating for way too long I finally opted to order (online) this terrific chair mat for my defacto bedroom "office" space. It turned out to be exactly the right size and of very high quality saving wear and tear on the bedroom carpet and giving my better half one less issue to remind me of.
