Won't Stay Put

I ordered this items because it doesn't have the sharp points most mats have that make them hard to handle without gloves. This one has little cleats on it. Great idea but in practice not so much. The mat walks all over the place when you move your chair around. I have to put it back in place a few times each day and that is a pain. I will probably put it under my printer stand and go buy one of the mats with the sharp pints.

Seems to be a good mat but a little soft. Casters will create dimples which are hard to get out of but will go away when not in use.

My husband got one of these a few months ago for his home office and recommended it when it came time to replace my home office chair mat. We have medium pile carpet and my old chair mat cracked and had chunks starting to fall out causing my chair to get caught. This one seems to be much sturdier yet flexible. It arrived flat so no waiting for it to uncurl.

I was concerned when I got this. I'm used to very stiff mats over this heavy carpet. It seemed like the wheels were sinking into the mat but it works great! Chair rolls easily and it's more comfortable.

This mat was described as being appropriate for carpet pile up to 0.75-inch thick which should have been right for my rug that is only 0.4-inch thick. The prongs on the back of the mat are only about 1/8-inch long and consequently do not penetrate the carpet an adequate amount to keep the mat in place. The mat shifts constantly and I have to readjust it several times a day to keep it straight and under my desk. I do not recommend this mat for carpet with pile higher than 1/4-inch.
