I should have bought one for a higher pile carpet even though I consider my carpet low pile

I'm sure this chair mat is fine for super low pile carpet but I guess my carpet is thicker. The wheels of my chair are making sloped indentations in the mat causing the chair to get a little stuck in place. I think if I had a mat intended for thicker carpet the nubby plastic spikes on the bottom would be longer and wouldn't allow the chair to cause such deep indentations in the mat.

Should have listened to a couple other reviews- it comes in a roll sealed with tape that’s next to impossible to remove without leaving a sticky area the size of the tape. We spent about 30 minutes trying to remove the stickiness with “Goof-Off” and nail polish remover to no avail. Some of the stuff came off but the basic gunk stayed behind. Don’t get me wrong it’s a great mat and is exactly as advertised but the sticky issue kinda kills the benefits. I’d give it four stars based on the product but less because of the glue residue issue. The manufacturer ought to pay attention to the problem as its serious and brought up several times by others.

I'm not a heavy person and after using the floor mat for the first time I noticed that the castors on my chair caused an indentation on the mat. Now whenever I sit at my computer I roll into that spot. My old floor mat of more than 20 years never had that problem.
