Fits perfectly with my desk and chair. Firm fit — no sliding.Only problem that I have found in the past is that you need to replace the mat every 2-3 years as it wears out. If the manufacturer can solve that problem using better plastics then you have a real winner.

This product is not suited for a carpeted area with pad. The wheels on the chair indent badly and are hard to roll out of.

I bought this to replace one that was no good for my thick carpet this one is no better only much more expensive. If you are looking for something to use over carpet look further - this ain't it....
