The mat is fine but it was rolled up and taped for pick-up at the store. The adhesive on the tape stuck to the mat and now my feet and chair get stuck on the adhesive. Not smart of Staples.

Mat's just little thin

Works fine but just a little thin as it sags a little around the wheels. Would be perfert if the plastic was rigid like a hardwood floor.

I guess this falls in the ‘they don’t make things like they used to category’ as I had a previous mat from Staples that was significantly better. This particular mat is soft plastic and is difficult to roll a chair over while sitting. I definitely don’t see it lasting a long time. Sure wish I had a new version of the old Staples mat :(

great product heavy duty - lasts me about a year or so. I use one side of it more than the other so I flip it around for extra use before replacing.

This Chair mat if obviously used on carpet because of the spiked backing. However unless you have some super hard carpet in your office this chair mat WILL crack and start to fall apart from the chair wheels rolling back and forth. Mine lasted just about 1 year but stated to crack within 4-5 months. Now that large chunks are missing it's finally unusable. My office carpet is the standard tight weaves closed loop kind you would find anywhere. This char mat is designed to fail; too thin & too soft... You have been warned; only with I followed the advice of the other reviewers...
