sturdy envelope at a great price!

Wasn't sure which envelopes to select. Vaccillated between getting a lesser amount at almost the same price as these were posted for on the shelf price sticker. Then I noticed that I could also opt for the security envelopes for not much more cost there was more vaccillation. Too too many options. When I realized that I was spending way too much time trying to select a basic number 10 envelope I knew that I had to make a choice stick with it and get on line to pay for my selection. I chose these and when I was rung up I was delighted that they cost much less than the shelf sticker price.

Wish Staples would go back to old style

I do quite a bit of mailing and stripping off the sealing tape of these envelopes sometimes results in little globs of glue sticking to my fingers which gets all over the sheet I need to fold. Annoying as all get out. Also this new type of sealing tape only reaches to the middle of the envelope leaving the outside 3/4-inch on each side un-sealed. The Post Office hates this as these un-secured edges can catch in their machinery and clog up and stop the entire sorting process. The older style self-seal envelopes sealed from edge to edge and the tape never got caught as it was drawn away from the envelope. Also the glue was stable and did not stick to fingers or paper.

Used to mail Christmas cards. Used my printer to print the addresses. Did not jam the printer and they looked great.

Terrible - these were defective one side of all the envelopes was not sealed. They are unusable - now I have to spend $$ on gas or postage to return them or throw them away...
