I have been purchasing these at regular intervals and used to like them. They do need to be pressed extra hard to make them seal but they will stick. However they have changed the product. The color used to closely match 92 94 etc white paper. The envelops are now much more blue/gray. They no longer match white standard paper. My last order in August of '21 was the white envelopes. My last order in Nov '21 came as the blue/gray. I also tried the 394047N Staples envelopes. They are the exact same blue/gray as these 5037 envelopes. Don't use either of these if you are looking for envelops that closely match standard paper stock.

A good quality. The seal sticks good. They are not thin. They do not have the blue security liner inside but are good enough for not seeing anything like a letter. Bold blk/ colored font of 18 + may show.

I do worry a bit about the garbage created by the peel off strips (are they recyclable paper or some other material?) but when you have a lot of letters to send it sure is easier than licking all those envelopes.

Basic envelops

These are nice white envelops for basic use. The peel off sticker allows you never to have to lick an envelop again. They do not have any interior security features so be aware if that is a necessity for you . Staples has other envelops with that feature. These envelops print well in my HP laser printer and fit perfectly. The price for these envelops was very reasonable on sale. If you need a larger quantity you can purchase the larger box of 500 and save even more money. Overall I was pleased with this purchase.
