Looking for the glued but happy with self stick

I was looking for the lick and stick envelops but you could only buy in bulk of 500 so I got these peel and stick at a premium I’m price. Works great but not exactly what I wanted

These are the best envelopes I have ever bought. They were self sticking so I didn’t have to lick that ucky glue made from cow hoofs. They were so opaque that I couldn’t see the checks inside the envelope. While that is usually good but I’m a senior and like to go back and review what is in the envelope. Lastly the recipient of a check in my first mailed envelope didn’t receive the check until 7 days later. Whose fault is it the envelope or the postal service? Final judgement to be made based on second mailed envelope.
