This security envelope is exactly as advertised. It is expensive compared to envelopes of similar size but you are paying for the added security.

After all these years with self-sealing envelopes I almost didn't remember how to lick the flap to seal. Somehow it seemed odd. Then I tried to just tuck in the flap and that didn't really work. But they are envelopes. They do fit 8.5 x 11 paper and they seal (after you remember to lick them!). Plain white but maybe you don't need fancy. These envelopes will serve just fine.

These envelopes will absolutely change your life!!! They are the most amazing things I have ever owned. In fact I am thinking of not even using them for mailing things out - it would be too emotionally difficult for me to part with any of these treasures. I have bought many 9" x 12" gummed white wove catalog envelopes before but these are the Cadillac of 9" x 12" gummed white wove catalog envelopes. I am forever a changed man because of these.

They are at least bigger than a regular 8x11 so you can easily fit paper-sized pieces in.
