This mat works pretty well. It allows my chair to move more smoothly over the carpet. However the plastic is soft enough that it will temporarily deform and create little "ruts" - and I'm not a big person (165 lbs.). These requiring a bit of a shove to slide out of.

I found just the right computer chair mat that allows me to move around with out the mat moving. The size and color was just what I wanted. The mat was carried out for me and put in my trunk without my even asking. I am please with the product quality and price. I am over joyed with custom service at this Staple store.
