Description said it was for carpet. I am using it on a firm berber carpet and the mat is not hard enough to stop my chair from making indentations in the mat. I literally have to lift my body up from the chair in order to scoot my chair casters out of the indentations. I would not recommend this product. May be OK on a tile floor but it has spikes on the bottom.

Pad is too soft. Chair wheels sink into mat and become difficult to move. I mistakenly thought the thicker mil would hold up better.

To fragile......came broken on one edge you replaced it and the ups driver dropped it when he broght second one. didnt break lucky enough ...three days after rolling chair to edges it broke again in a different spot..............for a business mat Im not happy at all.

Old mat had broken and had very sharp teeth on the back. New mat wonderful. Soft teeth on back hold firmly in place.

170 mm Chair Mat (20362-CC)

The carpet and pad in our house is too thick for the 145 mm chair mat so I replaced it with the 170. The 170 is extremely stiff so that it is shipped flat and without being boxed however it arrived without damage. It still dimples slightly with my 210 pounds but is a great improvement over the 145 mm mat. I was impressed by the one-day delivery.
