It took a while to flatten out but once flat it did the job.The one I replaced was also one from Staples but was almost 6 years old. It was time for a new one. Once flat by putting a few heavy books on two edges every thing was ok and I was able to roll around again with my chair at my desk at home.

The mat came to us rolled up and secured with packing tape directly on the product. As a result the mat has sticky strips that until we take the time to try to remove dirt is going to stick to those strips.
