High Pile Carpet Chair Mat

We have gone through several mats and until we found this high carpet pile mat we really didn't know they existed. We received it a week or so ago and it seems to be much better than our previous mats and I feel it will last much longer.

The floor mat is very high quality however that is what made it difficult to handle. After my genius daughter saw my problem she quickly came up with a solution. I really love it.

It says it's for thick or high pile carpet but I have permanent dents where the chair sits . This happened on the first day. Nice product but not for high pile carpet

Moves around on the carpet

Bought this because we had new carpet installed in the office. The carpet is definitely high pile and fluffy. The mat moves every time we push back in the office chair. It does not stay in one place.

So far so good

Chair mat looks nice it is not super-stiff meaning chair legs sink a bit in carpet but only as long as I sit on the chair. For the price is good so far. Time will tell how long is it going to last.

Disappointed

This mat will not stay in position. It creeps along the carpet even with my weight and the weight of the chair. I thought I would notch the edges to fit between two legs of the table I use for my computer desk but even then the mat creeped to one side (creating a buldge). I now have table legs directly on the mat and while that has slowed it down it has not stopped the creeping. Frustrating. My carpet is high pile which is why I spent the extra money for this mat. I couldn't have done any worse with a mat $50 cheaper.
