I see where other customers experienced poor chair rolling cracked mats or moving mats (prongs not long enough to keep mat in place). I purchased two of these mats for two different office chairs/desks. For me the mats are working well. They are staying in place and my chairs are moving quite freely--to the point where I must keep them from rolling from under me (lol). I'll give it some time to see if I experience any cracking but so far no cracks.

Chair mat

Perfect size. Chair rolls easily and my oriental rug is protected. And the clear mat provides a view of that portion of the rug. Very happy with it.

Should have gotten the deep pile mat

We just moved into a new place and needed mats for our carpeted office space. I chose this one to save a few bucks over the deep pile mats because I thought it would still be OK. It works but moves around more than we like. Another issue was that when it was delivered it was very cold and we did not notice that one corner had shattered from the cold. It's still very useable but be aware to check before the driver leaves. Since we had not we felt we could not prove it was that way when it arrived. Otherwise a good product but not for our deep carpet.

Won't stay unrolled

This was rolled up with the 'top side' to the inside. So the edges are still not lying flat. It has been more than a week and I've even had weights on the edges. This should have been rolled up with the top to the outside so when using it it would have naturally flattened over time. One of the edges also has a 'ripple' to it due to how it was rolled. Hoping over more time it'll get better.

Carpet Chair Mat

Very satisfied so far. More sturdy than my former mat. Only one concern the grips on bottom of mat to hold mat in place are much shorter that previous mat but has not been an issue so far. Perhaps it is a improved design. Would buy another at this point.
