Staples Made It Right

The first one of these we received was warped scuffed and dirty. We let it sit on a flat suface for a couple of weeks...still warped. Then piled on heavy books to try to flatten it fo a couple more weeks...still warped. We finally called customer service. They were wonderful! Immediately sent a replacement which is flat clean and not scuffed. It is exactly as described and seems to be high quality. It fits our home office desk set up perfectly. We think the first one was actually the wrong item this one is exactly what we had ordered. Look mistakes happen but we give Staples credit for quickly making it right once they were notified of a problem. This is why we continue to purchase from them.

Carpet chair mat

I ordered this at my local Staples. It was direct shipped to my home in just 2 days. The mat is heavy duty. I should have ordered the next size up. I have had several of these mats unfortunately they do crack and break down in a couple of years. We'll see how long this one lasts.

Great mat

This mat is exactly what I needed. This was purchased for my home office which has a very thick wool area rug under the desk. If I could have found one that was a little longer that would have been better... but this protects my rug where it has to be protected and allows my chair to roll smoothly. It stays in place and is almost transparent... ok you can tell it is there... but it isn't ugly or awful. So this is a great mat and a great purchase. Thanks Staples for stocking this mat. It has saved my area rug.

Delivered flat lays flat. I guess my carpet is considered high pile as there is a bit of crawl. It’s easy to bend over and adjust once a day. My chair moves easily over it.

I just purchased this after having the 1/8" thick one I used fall apart in less than two years. This is obviously thicker (3/16") and appears to be much more durable but only time will tell.

Mat is very soft and wheels of the chair dig into the material. Not stiff like the other mats with a lip.

Better for home carpet

My previous chair mats only lasted 5 years but they were for plain carpet not for home carpet with some pile. I thought the spikes would be longer for thicker carpet but actually the spikes are the same length but the mat itself is thicker. I hope this lasts for many more years. There was a shipping delay that was improved by using a chat. However I was told I would receive some small credit but that never arrived.
