The mat is ok. It gives too much which makes the chair not roll very well. Chair leaves indentions in the mat. I am not a heavy person therefore it should not do this. The worst part was when I bought at the store the mats were so packed in that I had trouble removing one and there was no one to help me. It messed my hand up so that I was bleeding. I told the cashier that someone needed to fix the mats because they messed my hand up. He ignored me. This is why it is a sad experience and I’m disappointed.
Nice size mat but very thin. I'm using it in my home office which has typical builder grade beige carpet. The wheels indent into this mat so much that I can't wheel out of them without getting up and pushing my chair. This would likely be great a bargain for use on wood floors.
We recently had to change two chair mats that had cracked and opened up holes. The carpet is very low pile however it has a nice pad underneath since we also exercise on it. These mats are thick and stiff enough to support the chair wheels rolling freely versus allowing them to form a depression. Price was right as well.
This mat does its job but I think it would work better with a lighter chair. Our chair is heavier than most so it can still sink down in the plastic. The chair does move easier than it did on the carpet.
Very nice worth the price. But not so sure the durability of the mat that could last for a couple of years without the crack that might damage the carpet in my home laptop computer desk.
