I've only had it a couple weeks and it seems to be doing well. I am a big boy. My weight will certainly put it to the test. It is on top of thick cushioned carpet so if it works here with me it should work for everybody (normal people).

This works great! Perfect thickness and grip on the carpet. Was pleasantly surprised that it came flat - no "unrolling" and "flattening" required. Outstanding!

This product is super. The quality of the construction is surprising. I've tried other chairmats and have been extremely disappointed. They were flimsy and cracked easily with everyday usage. This chairmat has give which of course will make for a lasting time-frame of usage. It's easy to clean making upkeep not unpleasant. It was worth the price because I believe it will last. You get what you pay for and if you purchase this chairmat you won't be disappointed.

As others have said this mat is too flexible to support a chair. Within an hour of sitting in my chair on the mat there were dips where the wheels were. My solution - I had a much more stiff mat (for hard floors) and put that on top of the carpet mat. No problem now but geez. I am well within the tolerances listed for weight/usage time.

The material is not as thick as my old one so you do see indentations from the wheels of my chair when I sit too long. However it does do the job and stays in place. The only real issue I had was in the way they ship it. The mat is rolled (makes sense easy to ship) but they taped the heck out of it. In addition the shipping label and other label were also on the mat. I had such a difficult time getting the adhesive cleaned off even with Goo Gone. On the bright side it did flatten out nicely.

As received this mat emitted toxic gas. Placing it in direct sun for a day has eliminated the problem [SO far).. The mat should never be in the house or offlice after unpacking until the described sunning is done. Otherwise it is good so far.
