Heavy Duty Chair Mat...

This is a heavy duty mat and was a little stiff at first but has flattened out nicely. Because of medium pile carpet in my office I wanted a thicker plastic mat that wouldn't crack and break in less than a year. I think I found it.

Could not find a way to uncoil the mat. Ended up using a heat gun to soften the vinyl and slowly straighten the mat to get it flat. Experienced the same problem as other reviewers wrote regarding the chair wheels. They easily sink into the flimsy thin vinyl making it difficult to maneuver when seated. Should have gone with a thicker polycarbonate material.

Too soft!

The mat is unsuitable for medium pile carpeting. It's too soft and dimples from the wheels of the chair. The mat is so soft the chair became nearly impossible to move out of the dimples. The mat was returned. Definitely would not recommend this item.

Seems a little too pliable. Mat being used on a Berber rug that is fairly well matted down. Time will tell. Price was good.

This chair mat is too thin. My chair makes indentations in it if I sit very long in one spot and then I have to rock my chair to move out of that dip it is sitting in. Is there a mat that is a lot thicker/stronger?
