My old floor chair mat wore out. It was a pain trying to move my chair from place to place. This new one is thicker so the chair slides more easily and doesn't create "craters" in the mat due to my weight or the carpeting. Very smart move and love this mat. I easily replaced the old one by changing how I aligned this with my desk and I'm glad. Now I have wider movement easier slide and better access to my needs. I recommend this mat to anyone with a medium pile carpet who spends a lot of time at your desk.

Ridiculous Claims!

Totally flimsy and far to thin to use over carpet as advertised. Chair sank into carpet on top of mat and wouldn't roll at all!! DO NOT order this to go over a carpet surface!!

I know 200 lbs is heavy but I expected this mat to not sink into the carpet. I am not completely happy with it. Time will really tell my satisfaction level.

Fourteen months later and there are a bunch of cracks in this mat. I'm sure glad it has a lifetime warranty.
