The mat is nice and thin. Bent during shipment (not packaging) but flattens out when lain out with some paper reams on bent portion. Just had it a few days so cannot comment on longevity

Large Chairmat

I needed the larger chairmat because I have to roll around alot in my cubicle. The last one I bought was a little more firm and did not give way under the weight of me and my chair. This one seemed a tad thinner in construction. Nevertheless this is a good buy for the money.

This is the fifth chair mat we have purchased in the last few months for our office. We have moved several folks around and so when we moved we discovered that we needed new mats. These mats from Staples are not only durable but the price is wonderful. Earning points for rewards is one of the reasons I shop locally in our Staples store and online. Without Staples easy to use website and their courteous employees I would spend a lot more time online with other companies. I especially like the fact that if an item is not in the store at the time I am there that the employees will order for me

A BETTER CHAIRMAT

After thinking that I was smart and buying the cheaper chairmats (THAT FELL APART WITHIN 2 MONTHS) I spent a little more and bought this one. I like how flat it lies and the surface is smooth and seemless. I'm had it for two months and very very happy.

The product was shipped promptly - with a cardboard wrap that was 8" too short so it stuck out. No issue however as it wasn't damaged - just uncaring and unprofessional. The stickers on the mat were attached with adhesive that was difficult to remove. Even with spray Goof-Off removing the residual adhesive was time consuming and much more difficult than it should have been. The web specs said that the mat was for carpet up to 3/4" thick exactly the thickness of my carpet. Upon delivery the tag said it was for berber carpet (not mis-shipped - the correct item number). I believe berber carpet is typically thinner and more dense than pile carpet. The mat is 'soft' and my chair sinks into the mat making the chair difficult to move. The mat might work better on berber carpet so the fault is with Staples for providing incorrect specifications.
