Works ok. Not as hard/stiff as I hoped. Starts out flat. Chair casters make a depression when I'm seated for a while. Thus the chair does then not roll easily to a new position.

OK Chair mat - terrible packaging

This mat is not very thick - it is fine for very LOW pile carpet and a medium weight user and for my purposes it works. It does bend under the wheels somewhat and with a heavy person it might be hard to roll around because of the indents made by the chair wheels. But it is not flimsy. It came rolled which in itself is not an issue but it was taped closed with clear packing tape and then obviously left in a hot warehouse because the adhesive from that tape was nearly impossible to remove! Tried GooGone WD 40 and rubbing alcohol spent well over an hour and a LOT of elbow grease trying to get it all off and I still have sticky spots on the at where dirt is starting to build up. Had I known cleaning it up would be such a nightmare I would have paid more for a mat that is packaged differently. Bottom line - if you can afford it get a mat that comes flat or rolled in a box but not taped.

Too pliable....chair sinks into the mat even after careful selection at the Staples store. We have ordered a replacement ...same size but firm for OVER TWICE the price which won't be delivered until sometime in August. We are very pleased with Staples free delivery. It. Helps take away the agrivation.

UPS delivered the mat flat laying it on the porch to avoid weakening it to later cracking So far thanks to careful delivery it is holding up well.
