CAUTION: Be prepared to work on this before using!

This item had a great price and was shipped on time however... It is rolled up and taped into a cylinder shape for shipping and delivery. The tape that was used on the mat is supersticky and when it is removed ALL of the adhesive stuck to the surface of the mat. Can't be pulled or scraped off - no matter how hard I tried there was significant sticky residue left. I used over a half a bottle of GooGone and almost an hour trying to remove the remains of the adhesive without damaging the mat. It never completely went away but the area where it's not perfectly smooth isn't causing a functional problem so far. Also though I followed the directions for measuring the carpet pile and thought I ordered the right one it still moves around on the carpet a lot. SUMMARY: If you don't mind spending significant time and money before being able to figure out whether you've ordered the right product then this might be worth getting.

It was very hard to unravel they way it was shipped and the edges do not lay fat on the carpet even after being down several days. It is very thick though so Iit has not craked like cheaper floormats.

The Worst

I had the same problem last year. It arrrives outside my house filthy taped with sticky gooey tape that takes me 45 minutes to remove. the one I order last year is already ripped under my chair . Poor quality and I had to return the one last year. I am still trying to get the dirt off of the one I just received. Very poor quality control on your part!

Low Pile Carpet Chair Mat

Am loving this mat and it was so easy to purchase on-line through Staples. Good product good price and total convenience and the product was here when I was told it would be here. Sure makes a difference with this mat under my while I am working all day on my computer. Would recommend this product to any of my relatives & friends that are needing a good quality chair mat for low pile carpet.
