I purposely waited over a year to review this product in order to determine how it stood up to daily use. Some plastics will break down and crack. I'm happy to say this product shows no signs of wear and tear yet. No cracking.

Don't Use on plush carpet or pad

Bought two of these. The one for my office is great. We have "commercial" grade carpet on cement flooring. No problem. However for my home office...on friese carpet with pad...the material is so soft and flimsy that the casters on my chair keep mashing down into it...and are a pain to roll out of those depressions.

I bought this as a gift for my husband who is not a heavy person - maybe 185. The mat has dents in it from when he sits in his chair ... at the space where the rollers are. The dents don't come back up and it makes it extremely difficult to roll back and forth. I would never recommend this particular product.
