This is the 3rd mat I have purchased in the last 8 years. They serve their purpose but eventually start to crack. For the cost of the product I feel it should last longer.

Poor quality product!

I have purchased 2 of these in the last 3 years. One began to crack and turn brittle within 6 months. The other is about 2 years old and has to be replaced because it has pretty much disintegrated. I would not recommend this. In particularr don't use any kind of commercial cleaner on it as it will turn brittle and deteroriate faster.

Personally I believe that chair mats are all overpriced. Not just at Staples but everywhere. Having said that this mat is good quality and is working well protecting our carpet.

I've been working from home since March 2020 and this mat was a couple of years old at that time so I believe I got my money's worth and bought another one. It's just big enough to allow free movement without rolling off the edge and it is soft enough to be quiet.

Extremely difficult to unroll with space heater taking hours to soften followed by two days of Heavy book boxes in place to flatten.
