NOT MY FAVORITE MAT

It did not hold up to 40-50 hour work weeks. Next time I will order a thicker one even if it's more expensive. In the long-run I will save money. This one in less than 3 months ended up cracking where my chair rollers usually sit. And yes I need to loose about 30 lbs. BUT I've bought other thicker ones that last for over a year.

I've had this for only a week so I don't know about the durability but it is thick and seems very sturdy. There is a little resistance when rolling the chair because the rollers make little indentations in the plastic; these disappear within a few minutes. So far I like it.

Staples® 45" x 53" Low Pile Carpet Chair Mat Lip

Nice mat like the older ones. This one seems less stiff more pliable. Softer. That's seems good as the chair seems less likely to cause cracks. I've only had it a week. So the jury is still out. Great fast delivery. 2 days at regular rate.
My chair wheels seem to easily form divets in the mat which they then get stuck in. Furthermore it seems the mat easily moves around which is frustrating. I may be buying another mat from somewhere else unfortunately.

better than expected

Though thinner than I thought they'd be seem plenty stiff for the purpose. Won't swat beneath the chair and perform to all expectations.
This pad works very well over plush carpeting. The only problem I have is that it doesn't stay in place and I need to keep repositioning it. Otherwise it is great!
We love our new chair mat. It was delivered on time and was already laid flat. Usually a mat might be received rolled and then you have to let it lay out for a day or two to flatten-not the case with this.
