Right solution for thick carpet; very substantial

The material is very thick and substantial. If you have deep carpet and or a heavy chair this is a good solution. The plastic material is clear and vey flexible hopefully it remains this way over the long haul.

I wish it was thicker. I'm not sure how long it will last. It already had dents in it from my chair. It is bigger and a little thicker than my other one was. We shall see.

This nice thick mat is great ...no divits to sink into... easy to move your chair around on. It doesn't move around on the carpet!

Good Product; Bad Packaging

I ordered this nice chair mat at my brother-in-law's recommendation. I like how it's firm and broad allowing ample space for my desk chair. It was also an acceptable replacement for my original one which cracked and fell apart due to poor product design. I was also impressed with Staples' one-day delivery option. However upon receiving the mat I found it wrapped in clear packaging tape. Removing this tape was unexpectedly challenging as it left behind a significant amount of adhesive residue. Despite my efforts with various adhesive removers and cleaning solutions the residue persists clouding the otherwise clear chair mat. I encourage the folks at Staples to either use a different tape for packing their products like this or seek an entirely alternate packaging method. Apart from that the mat is serving its purpose nicely. I hope to be able to remove the residue someday.

THIS IS NOT AS HARD OF A MT AS WE WANTED IT STILL DENTS IN WHEN YOUR OFFICE CHAIR IS ON IT . NOT TOUGH ENOUGH HARD TO ROLL ON. NOT REALLY HAPPY WITH ITEM. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL.
