High Pile Carpet Chair Mat

Mat works fine However it moves around on the carpet aways in the same direction. I was hoping the new mat would stay in one place. It is annoying.

A little softer than the previous one I had

I had the same mat for high pile carpet before and that one is much stiffer you can't possibly roll it. This one came rolled so it is softer which tends to create dips. Worst part though was the packaging tape it was secured with had totally melted on to the mat it took me an hour of goo-be-gone to remove all the residue.

Thick good quality mat

This mat works great on my thick plush carpet. Chair rolls easily (with 180 lb person) no issues with dents as some people seem to have. The gripping surface on the bottom certainly keeps it in place. My only negative comment would be that it shipped with no protective packaging so had some black scuff marks on it though I was able to clean those off.

High Pile Chair Mat is NOT for High Pile Carpet

The chair mat "walks" with use the cleats or studs do not extend out far enough to prevent it from walking across the floor. It says for carpets up to 1 inch but would only work on very short pile.
