"The only game in town"

It makes rolling my office chair easier than on carpet alone. But the chair wheels indent the plastic surface easily making rolling uneven. My first mat broke through after less than two years.

My chair sinks into the mat when you sit for awhile in one place more than I would expect (I only weigh about 160 pounds). The indentations do disappear after a while after the chair is moved. This isn't a big problem as long as the mat holds up well and doesn't crack (I've only had it about a week).

It Really Works!

We have really plush carpet 1 inch thick with a 1/2 inch pad. Previous chair mats would indent and crack. We have only had this mat a few weeks but after daily use it still is in good shape and supports the chair with out give or indentations. Time will tell after the plastic has aged if it will start cracking or not but for the price it's the best one out there for plush carpet. Maybe the only one.

Plastic is not thick enough for high pile carpet and is there is no lip.

Cleats could be longer.

Carpet mat seems thick enough to support me and my office chair on thick pile carpet but it continuously wants to slide sideways until it starts to curl against table leg. Needs longer cleats to get a better bite into carpet.

Too soft

Felt pretty heavy duty in the store. My carpet is only 1/2" thick but mat dimpled where chair sits almost immediately making it very hard to move the chair. Was supposed to be good for carpets up to 1". I only weigh 170 lbs and my chair has 5 rollers. Very disappointed.

Sorry to say that I am disappointed with the high pile carpet floor mat. My five wheel office chair makes deep impressions in the mat making it impossible for me to move the chair. I have only use the format for two days and it seems that the impressions do return to the original shape. What bothers me is that I feel that that the wheels of the chair will make permanent impressions in the floor mat which will become useless to use. I am only 160 pounds in weight and that should be no impressions as my previous floormat
