I can't really say anything about this product because I haven't had it very long. the last time I bought this product was five years ago. I have berber carpet and a light weight office chair. at this time it seems ok.

The mat is fairly thin and it will 'dip' from my weight (I'm not over-weight) & chair. It can make rolling the chair on the map a bit of an effort. I don't have plush carpet but the mat still moves a little - not as much as my previous one.

Mat was delivered unrolled a little over a week ago. Love how it fits perfectly under and behind our desk—plenty of room to roll chair in and out from the desk. Also love how clear it is with a nice beveled edge and so far it’s working just fine on our plush carpet. Our desk isn’t used daily except when our son is in town and working from home. Happy with the purchase and would recommend
