MY husband decided he wanted a chair mat because I have been using one for a number of years and his chair is on a rug and just thought it would be easier for him to maneuver around. He loves it as I do too although mine is on a floor.

Finally an item that is exactly what I needed.

At the onset I was skeptical of this item. So often a seller's item description adds only to delude the buyer of an item's capabilities but is quite the opposite. However Staples has the exact description of it's worth and exactly what I wanted. Thank you STAPLES for selling me this item.

The chair rollers crest divers in the mat making it difficult to roll. Also not good for the long term wear on the carpet.
