Not exactly what I was expecting.

The mat is thinner than I expected. One side seems a bit smoother than the other but hard to notice. No directions to indicate which side to place down. Product did not flatten and become pliable like the paperwork said it would. This survey comes way too early as I just purchased it. How would I have knowledge about if it yellows how it cleans etc.?

Provides an easy base for my rolling chair; as I work on the computer. Much thicker and more effective than my last rug protector and computer chair rug.

Not so good on mixed floor

I have a rug on a laminate floor and this mat has to bridge both - so not really ideal. However I've had to attach to the hardwood floor with 2 sided tape to stop moving and the chair casters make quite big dents in mat (over the rug). The dents do straighten out somewhat when the chair is pushed under the desk (over the laminate) at night. Time will tell how long it might last. Probably works fine if used just on a hardwood floor.

Not that good even for the price

I purchased this particular mat because it seemed to me that it was a good deal and the others were a bit on the expensive side. Well I learned my lesson! It hasn't even been a year and this one is literally falling apart and looks worse than the one it replaced (which was here in the office long before I was).

I bought the mat to allow my chair to roll easily but the chair rolls off the mat to easily.

I LIKE THIS PRODUCT AND IT PROTECTS THE FLOOR A GREAT DEAL. THICKNESS IT ADEQUATE BUT THE COST IS VERY EXPENSE FOR A SMALL CHAIRMAT!

We use this in a home office so that the chair can move easier over the carpet. It is fairly thin to the point that the mat is getting "dimples" where the chair sits.

It is smaller than I thought

This mat is smaller than I thought to cover my sitting area. It has an adequate thickness and best use on carpet floor. The pricing is pretty competitive. They should have made another size bigger so consumer can choose.
