Too lightweight to hold up over time

Chair mats deteriorate & crack over time. I recommend a heavier mat for cost effectiveness.

put over my ceramic tile. tile will chip from rolling a chair over and over on it unless you protect it.

I am using this mat on my kitchen floor to protect the vinyl tiles from cracking under my rolling chair. It looks good and is protecting the floor. However it will slide if it is kicked.

I have a desk chair with wheels that I don't want to damage the carpet in the room. This mat was the perfect size and covers all of the normal desk usage for a chair.

Not Too Sturdy

If I sit in my office chair for more than 5 minutes the wheels to the chair sink down into the plastic making it almost impossible to roll the chair. The carpeting in my office is quite low pile but not low enough for this.

Economy Does Mean Less.

This was the only choice available in a square mat. I would have been willing to pay more for something better but there was no other option.
