we use it at our computer desk on hardwood flooring it helps that the chair does not scratch the floor.

It Really Works!

We have really plush carpet 1 inch thick with a 1/2 inch pad. Previous chair mats would indent and crack. We have only had this mat a few weeks but after daily use it still is in good shape and supports the chair with out give or indentations. Time will tell after the plastic has aged if it will start cracking or not but for the price it's the best one out there for plush carpet. Maybe the only one.

So far so good. I like the product and the price was great at [$]. I have had other protectors and (cost was more than doulble this one)after time they become brittle and crack when on a carpet. Will see how this product holds up.

Chair sinks in...

This product is not sturdy enough...the chair sinks into the matt and won't roll. The plastic needs to be harder.
